Into Metaverse was composed in October 2022 for Hypercube. The title refers to the concept of the metaverse—a virtual universe where people interact with each other and with digital objects. While writing the piece, I was playing several video games, including Cyberpunk 2077, and those gaming experiences sparked the idea of depicting a virtual world through music. As a result, this piece carries a highly mechanical and technological character, designed to create a sense of futurism. The entire work is built from a limited pitch set [0,1,5,7], and it also became the last composition in which I explored this particular set after several years of focusing on it.
